During our stay on a motorhome site, we noticed that the ground was not entirely flat, causing water to pool in one side of the shower and sink. However, the amenities were fantastic! Showers and toilets were very clean and we used the laundry facilities and clotheslines. Although the overall cost was a bit higher than other options in the area, the location was unbeatable and it was the only available option at the time. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was a lovely experience.
A nasty and greedy business. They are only interested in your money. It must be the most expensive camp ground in Australia yet the amenities and facilities are old and run down. Extremely unprofessional service. Kicked out of a caravan site with one months notice. My family had been booked in that site for years and they never had the decency to offer an alternative site. And recently they have booked another customer on our site over the same dates that we have been attending for years. They have no morals and ethics.
We camped here with kids (a tent, no caravan) and it was lovely. The amenities are clean and not crowded even in school holidays. The shop has milk and ice and you can easily walk or cycle to Byron along the path. My only criticism is that it’s now set up mainly for caravans with hard gravel surfaces rather than nice sandy or grassy spots for tents. The cabins look nice but are expensive to hire.
First of all, the camping is well located very close to the beach and the amenities are good, however I think it’s totally overpriced. We’ve stayed in other campings much cheaper and better.
Now about the service/attention from the staff, it was one of the worst we received in our whole road trip in the east coast. We had a problem with our booking, but they never tried to help us or solve it. It ruined our stay, luckily it was only 1 night (94aus, power site).
Really good thanks for the invite. Really enjoyed our stay on an unpowered sight. Toilets and showers were my favourite with really good and consistent water pressure. Very polite campsite, when I lost my football lots of people helped me …
Bring your levellers, the sites were uneven park overall was quite messy. Leaves everywhere, amenities were very grotty, site 99 was hard to find, especially without a map and then really hard to get into because so many people had cars parked around the site. It looks like a cabin used to be there but they had to take it out for whatever reason.
I’ve stayed in parks in the Daintree that do a much better job at cleaning up leaves than the workers at Byron Bay.
I’m surprisingly disappointed by the quality and standard of reflections parks, it’s starting to feel a bit like the discovery parks the McDonald’s of holiday accomodation
We camped at a powered site and it was awesome, loved being surrounded by wildlife and just a short walk to the beach. It was a quiet and friendly group of campers. When the Byron Kombi Keg van and the pizza van came down for sunset that was definitely a highlight, this is such a great idea.
We had an amazing stay in the glamping tents. It was really whole. And the location was perfect too. Right next to the beach.
